The DRC Army issued a statement of Saturday October 11th, 2025 calling upon FDLR to lay down their guns and get ready for repatriation to Rwanda, the communique also warned FARDC Officers who would collaborate with the FDLR, and indicated the use of force against those who will resist.
The FDLR is the Rwandan Armed Grouped based in DRC composed essentially by Rwandan refugees, the main objective of FDLR is to protect Rwandan refugees against military attacks from Rwanda.
